Skills Engine (summer 2017)

  • Pitching ideas to a company. Presenting to a wide range of audiences.

  • Being confident in what you're talking about. It's important to be clear.

  • Research the company so I'm able to know what they are looking for.

  • Making sure to research the audience so that the ideas appeal to them and also making it realistic.

  • I needed to do one to interviews with staff about the project we have in mind.

  • Creating a small advertising video to help promote our work.

 

Entertainment Host(IN THE MIX)
  • My job role was to researching latest news of the week, this was so to imitate a live show, meaning recent celebrity news.

  • Being confident in front of the camera.

  • It's important to come​ prepared and know what your talking about.

  • Showing that there is interaction between me and my co-host.

 

Radio Presenter/Specialist Producer (Fade Radio)
  • These roles advertise my multi-tasking skills.

  • It was important to split my wisely so I have to time do my work as well as produce for my presenters.

  • This job shows you're organisation skills and punctuality.

  • It allowed me to share my artistic views and share them with my presenters.

Splendid (2016-2017)

 

  • Was given the opportunity to work with high end companies, such as yacht parties, cricket games, award ceremony's and exhibitions.

  • ​I was able to show my flexibility by working numerous roles, being a waitress, wine waiter and clear duty.

  • I was able to pick up new skills in a short amount of time.

 

 

Artisan People (2017-2018)

  • This job is about customer service, brand knowledge and having experience in make up as well as fragrance.

  • I had the opportunity to work in different branches.

  • Selfridges, House of Fraiser, Debenhams and Harvey Nichols.

  • This job gave me the opportunity to understand the different branches and learn the rules.​

 

 

New Look (2018)

 

  • I worked as sales adviser.

  • It showed me how important advertisements is.

  • Working close with the publicist team helped me understand how the industry works.

  • Presentation is key.

  • Important to know that company and its brands.​

2013-2016

I studied Media studies for three years, earning a BTEC Diploma of Media Productions-DMM. Within the three years I learnt how to use the camera equipment and software's, I gained knowledge on the industry itself. These skills prepared me for university as it gave me an idea of what's to come.  ​

Birmingham City University
2016-2019

Throughout my three years of university I've been able to try out multiple sectors in the industry. Being a broad course student allowed me to confirm my interests and explore my ​options. I have built upon my skills and have learnt more along the way. I have had the opportunity to work with students and create content.
